EN 10088-1 Grade X2CrNiMo17-12-2 strain-hardened Material X2CrNiMo17-12-2 is comparable to X 2 CrNiMo 17 13 2 acc. to DIN17440 :1985-07. It is a modification of steel 1.4401 with high resistance to non oxidizing acids and chloride containing media. This steel is suitable for mirror finishing and very good cold formable. Its corrosion properties are still improved owing to the lowered C-content.
